Interview Only
From£349
The complete, beautifully filmed interview. Ideal if you want the record itself, unedited and unhurried.
- Initial consultation by video call, up to two hours: we identify the most promising topics, agree the location and explain how to prepare
- On the day we arrive, set up, and film an interview with one or two participants
- Within two weeks we colour correct the footage, mix the sound, and send you the complete interview

Edited Interview

The full interview plus two edited films: a short highlights piece to share, and a longer film to keep.
- Initial consultation by video call, up to two hours
- On the day we film an interview with one or two participants
- We capture additional footage of the house and any important objects
- Within a month we colour correct, mix the sound, and send the complete interview plus two edited versions: a short highlights clip and a longer edited interview film

Premium Shoot
From£1,899
Two cameras, a dedicated sound engineer, up to four participants, and a set of films that explore different angles on a family.
- Initial consultation by video call, up to three hours
- An interview with up to four participants
- Two camera operators, giving us extra edit points for smoother and more interesting edits
- A dedicated sound engineer for even higher quality audio
- Footage of the house, important objects, and additional material with other significant people such as children, grandchildren and relatives
- Within a month: the complete interviews, short highlight clips for sharing, and at least two longer edited films exploring different topics or angles

Things people ask.
Where do you film?
Wherever your family feels most at home. Usually that is their own house, which also lets us film the rooms and objects that hold the stories. We agree the location together during the consultation, and studio hire is available as an optional extra.
How many people can take part?
The Interview Only and Edited Interview packages are designed for one or two participants. The Premium Shoot allows up to four, plus additional material with other significant people such as children and grandchildren.
What if they are nervous about being filmed?
Almost everyone is, at first. The consultation means nobody is surprised on the day, and we work sensitively and respectfully so that people feel comfortable sharing what matters to them. Most people forget the camera is there within minutes.
When will we receive the films?
Within two weeks for the Interview Only package, and within a month for the Edited Interview and Premium Shoot, which include edited films.
Who owns the footage?
You do, entirely and exclusively. We can make as many copies as you like, and there are no licences or ongoing fees.
Can you travel to us?
Yes. We travel across the UK. Location may affect the final quote, which is why we ask you to get in touch for an exact price.
